  • Good Morning let me introduce myself

Hello I'm kath 55, slightly disabled, though im still managing to hold down a job

unfortunately I'm unable to do any kneeling an very little bending due to acute O.A in the knees acute (hips / back ) normal level of O.A. In my other joints
But I'm determined that this can be worked around though with a little advice from your Good selves !

I will be honest I know nothing about ' growing things ' soil PH levels but am a willing student

I would like to grow produce free from chemicals if possible an make my own compost ( will this attract flies though I wonder lol Told ya I was a novice

Anyways that's enough tabbed from me for now Look forward to constructive help an advice from any of you experienced Good people

    Kindest Regards

    Kath

        Hello Kath and welcome.
High level planters may suit you - something like these - http://www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/gra...ter_72438.html
You could also grow fruit bushes or patio fruit trees. Once they're planted all you have to do is give them a prune to keep them in shape and, of course, pick and eat the fruit. Always the best part!!

                  Hi Kath

Some form of raised beds could be the answer for you so you won't need to bend.

As long as you put the right mix in your compost you shouldn't have a problem with flies. If you do a search for compost you should find lots of advice on making good compost
