  • Hi and new allotment

Hi I'm Bec, I'm busy reading lots of posts so thought I'd better say hello

I have just got an allotment after only a short time on the waiting list, a 5 pole plot and very overgrown! but I am so excited!
I discovered some potatoes when I managed to get to the back of the plot and there is an apple tree in the corner
This seems like a great place for lots of great advice.

Hi there and welcome. Whilst I'm not a lottie holder, I do have a large garden with veg patch. I don't envy you trying to combine other people's kids and an allotment. Best of luck.

Hi Bec and welcome. Take lots of photos as your plot progresses, you'll soon forget just how overgrown it once was.

Hi and welcome, Bec. Me and OH are newbies to the world of allotments, having only taken on our plot at the end of April. As Mr Bones said, take plenty of photos as you go. They can be a good spirit booster when you feel as though you're working hard and not getting anywhere.

Thanks for the welcome, I have added my location and have taken lots of before pics and put some in my profile, at the moment it's hard to see the layout as the grass is as tall as me in places, definitely taking it step by step.
