Just a common or garden gardener (sorry about the pun)

Hello,
My name is Tony Rome and I'm just an ordinary gardener. I live in a stunning part of the country - North Derbyshire. I don't profess to know all the plants' latin names. I don't profess to know all the complaints, irregularities and diseases of plants. I know a healthy plant when I see one. If I can't identify a plant then I look it up, find it, write it down and do a plant label if needs be. When I grow vegetables, I read the information on the packet. It's all quite straightforward to little me.
I came across this site because I had a 'curling leaf' query with my tomatoes. I did notice that someone had attempted to start a curling leaf survey but the idea didn't seem to have raised much interest.
Anyway, that's all for now. I hope to get involved as time goes on.
