Hi there,
another new one.

I've two half plots, by coincidence got them on same day 3 years ago, making this the 4th growing season.

Both have clay soil. One had to be resurrected and is now in ok condition, the other just needed clearing and digging.

Not much else to add - I'm a fan of long handled digging tools and adding mulch.

Thanks to all, like the site! Lots of info for me to read about and lots of ideas to keep my plots rolling too.

Rustylady, nah, 5 ft 9, I used to be a greenkeeper and got used to them. I find the "normal" length tools a bit hard on my back, sometimes slow too. Do use a Qualcast digging fork though, seems to have the angles right.
