  • Trying to grab every sunray!

    Hi!

Been lurking for a while and thought I would create an account, bought our first house last year and its got a medium sized back garden and patio.

Currently renovating our property as we bought a project as wanted an investment! So dont have much time for gardening but I do love it.

Started a few spuds and other things last year with no idea at all that I was too late, had a good crop of spuds late in November and am spurred on this year too

Literally have no idea on what I'm doing so looking for advise and laughs.

Have included two pics of the garden although it doesnt look quite the same now, have a blowaway with some veggies and chillis herbs etc inside and large double ikes bag growing some new potatoes, also got courgettes toms brussels sweetcorn lettuce beans beans beans on the go, apparently I planted the broccoli too early as its suddenly flowered into beautiful yellow tini heads.

I dont get too disappointed when things dont go as planned, set up a very wonky but beautiful!! Trellis for half my beans earlier this year and now ive realised they arent climbers!! Oops

Hi and welcome to the vine. Your garden looks lovely! Half the fun of gardening is being able to play with it, try things out and see if we like the results. If not we can do something different next time!

Hi there...and welcome to the Vine!

            ..we're all learning

Nice sized garden by the way!!!

We're renovating our house too and find the garden (fruit and veg and flowers) a fantastic place to escape to escape into ...fresh air and only a brew away from getting stuck back into the renovation!!
