Small garden.

Hi my name is Malc but on this site it's fozzy.
I have a smallish garden which is fully paved and slabbed and have always added colour and interest with flowers in tubs and baskets etc. Just this year I have had an interest in growing veg and the like. I have a 4' x 4' greenhouse with some peppers and chillies in and also a couple of tomato plants and one cucumber. I purchased this year a cultivation station as sold by potty innovations and have grown carrots, parsnips, lettuce, runner beans and beetroot, also spring cabbage. The cultivation station is brilliant. I also grow veg in containers and have just ordered a vegtrug as the growing bug has really got to me. I am looking forward to learning new things and getting help and advice when needed and also sharing experiences.

There's quite a few container veg growers on this site so you won't be short of advice if you want any.

Got any pics of your cultivation station? Not sure I've seen one of those.

Hi Fozzy Malc.. welcome to the vine. You can grow a lot of good stuff in a small garden. I grow veg from by back garden. Once you get the bug you will be filling every space with crops in pots and planters.

Googled your cultivation station, nothing as posh for us. Buckets from BQ in black of orange for tomatoes, council recycle sacks for potatoes. Have got some garden so we have sweetcorn in a bed, peas and carrots in long containers. Salads are now in a thin flower bed. Runner beans are in a trench in the garden. So we have the best of both worlds. Haven't bought potatoes for 2 months now, and have got loads to dig up yet, it's great

Hi Fozzy and welcome. Thanks for the photos of your cultivation station - never seen one in use before! Once the growing bug bites you, you'll be making containers out of pallets, buckets, drawers and anything that holds soil.
You'll find lots of ideas and support on this forum. Make yourself at home
