    Welcome, you will not be alone here with container gardening, and do you know what, I prefer containers for several reasons, better control of the growing medium, easier to weed and cultivate (cant bend so well) portable, easier to isolate bugs and disease etc. The downside is watering but I work from home so its not a problem.

    Here are some onions I grew earlier.

        My small vegtrug arrived this aft. Any suggestions for some good compost /medium mixes to fill it with would be appreciated. I am thinking of putting in winter greens/cabbages for containers and next month also some onion sets. Come the spring carrot varieties will be the preferred planting.

            Can anyone help? How do I post something out there for general viewiing and asking questions. It just seems as if all I can do is reply on this thread. I am desperate to learn something about two ornamental grasses I have just dropped a goolie with by purchasing them. Getting them home and finding out they are not hardy. Thanks
