Hi all,

Me and my partner are pretty new to growing our own flowers/plants/veg etc and are hoping that we can get some good tips and ideas from this forum. We have an average sized garden that we brought back from the dead using mainly recycled materials. I have recently bought a Polycarbonate greenhouse in which I hope to grow plenty of the foods we eat, Toms, Cucumber, Chillies and others. I built a raised bed at the wekend and cant wait to get it filled using the Sqaaure foot gardening technique. Anyway just thought I would introduce myself and hope to speak to some of you soon!

I couldn't do that! It's taken me two years to get the lawn to some sort of state that we can have visitors lol. Thank you all for the warm welcome

Hello and welcome to the Vine, gardening is addictive, I started growing in containers then gradually dug up the part of lawn then progressed to filling in our pond just to give me more space.

Haha I think I would get kicked out of the house and into the greenhouse if I did that. At least I could be on slug watch all night!
