Many of us "make do and mend" in the garden and buy our seeds and tools at end of season sales. To me, its all part of being a gardener - in fact, I take the same approach to my home as well as my garden Love Freecycle/freegle for that reason!!

I was going to say it's a bit early for SNOOOOOOOOOWWWWW! just yet, but we'd had some this early in the year two years ago. (With apologies to those who think snow is a swear word - I love it!)

I too think its a little early for snow but I suppose since we didn't get any last winter it's maybe just a tad late. . Never too early to join this Forum though. We generally have someone who will know the answer to the most obscure of questions and the simple ones can generate a wealth of replies. That's not to confuse the question asker, it's because sometimes things can be done differently with success. It's what makes growing veg interesting
