Hi and welcome to the vine. If you're aiming for self-sufficiency does that mean you'll be growing mainly staples like tatties, neeps, carrots and such, or will you be trying some more adventurous crops as well?

A very warm welcome to the forum, dear Gema.Pain is still pain, suffering is still suffering, regardless of whoever, or whatever, is the victim.

Hi Gema and welcome to the vine. Mrs B and I are almost self sufficient in veg, it's been a steady learning curve over five (nearly six) years but good fun, not to mention good eating. I'm sure you'll fit in here.Location ... Nottingham
