Hello my name is Chris, I'm living in Rotherham on a new estate at Waverley, which is close to Catcliffe. It's a new build, so a new garden with new soil. I want to establish a veg patch at the bottom of my garden and I have no experience whatsoever of growing stuff (apart from one unsuccessful episode about 15 years ago when I tried to grow beetroot and it went to seed - that experience must have really damaged me). I've mixed some bags of mpc in with the soil and started putting stuff into my compost bin but that's about it.

Hello Chris and a big welcome from down here
Unfortunate incidents with beetroot are enough to scar anyone for life. You can either try growing them again to overcome your fear or try something completely different that you may enjoy growing!
Tell us what you'd like to grow/eat and we'll talk you through it
