Not very green fingered from Essex

Hi fellow growers, I've decided to grow my veg properly this year, rather than emptying packets of seeds here there and everywhere lol.
In the past I've not had much luck with veg growing it seems the bugs and slugs feast on them more than me. I have a few little raised beds not very big ranging from 5ft X 1ft and 5ft x2ft, a green house 6ftx4ft, 2 grow bag houses and ive been out and bought a few containers.
I have a few fruit trees in buckets that I bought 3 years ago but I only get 1 or 2 bits of fruit on them, not even full size minuscule infact.
I'm hoping to get loads of advice from all you wonderful peeps on this forum as I do need pointing in the right direction.
I have planted some seeds already and have kept them indoors, they have sprouted but all look really spindly and pale maybe I was too eager and should of waited till next month and used the greenhouse? Also I put my spuds in egg boxes for them to chit but nothing's happened where am I going wrong lol
Anyway nice to meet you all and hoping to get some great advise

Welcome to the Vine. Sounds like you have lots of plans. Spindly seedlings usually mean too warm and too little light. Hardier stuff might be better in the greenhouse. You've plenty of time to have another go. As for potatoes not chitting, where have you got them and how long have you waited? They need to be somewhere cool and bright. I managed to cook mine one year as they got too hot in the shed, by the window in an unseasonably hot spell.
If you add your location to your profile it will help to give you accurate advice. If it won't let you first time keep posting and keep trying.

What seeds have you sown so far and how have you sown them? Pots, trays/ propagator/composts etc. Every little bit of info that you give us helps us to help you.

You've had some good advice from Wendy, all I can add is that trying putting some white or silver card behind your seedlings when they're on the window sill that should prevent them from getting too leggy.
