Hello, I am new to growing fruit and veg and and have planted beans, peas, potatoes, beetroot, carrots, Brussels sprouts, parsnips, cabbage, strawberries and rhubarb. I made 4 raised beds measuring 6 feet square. I bought some metal hoops so I could protect the crops with netting. The problem is that they are too small. I have seen other people using blue alcathene pipe. Where can I buy this from? Any suggestions would be very useful to this novice, thanks, Mike

Welcome Micky,
you can get plastic water (blue) or gas (yellow) from Amazon suppliers at quite reasonable rates sometimes. Other online sources can be good, or find a builder with some sizeable offcuts when they put in the supply for new build houses.

Hello and welcome.
The blue and yellow pipes are intended (in their original use) to be used underground so haven't been uv stabilised and will eventually degrade in sunlight - not really a problem if they are only being used as cloche hoops.
The black pipes have been stabilised but are more expensive.
