Welcome! I'm new too! It is a bit ambitious, but it depends on the sizes of the plots and, as others have said, perhaps putting easy to maintain crops in one. There's a chap on our allotments who has a few plots, last year he did loads of potatoes!
We have a smallish plot but we didn't really put enough hours in last year and didn't utilise it fully. I plan to do more this year as my son is a bit older. Little and often is a good idea. Once I've done the work of sorting out my beds and making the paths low maintenance, I'd consider taking on a second small plot if the opportunity came up because I don't have room for everything I'd like to do. But you are a bit brave starting off with two plots!
