Welcome Stefan, hope you get your allotment very soon, and can get started. Lots of hard work, but lots of lovely vegetables.

          Enjoy the Vine.

I t feels like Christmas, the allotments are at the end of my road, I can almost see them from my daughters bedroom window Its an old site been there as long as I can remember, there is another site not too far away that has 80 odd lots available. Maybe there isn't so many keen 'allotmenteers' around here.

I'm amazed that there isn't a waiting list! We'll have to ask you where they are soon in case there's anyone local who'd like one!

I got a key last week (I had a long weekend away with the kids) and was given a choice of a few different plots. I've picked the plot I want and have been given the green light to get going on it.
Will have to get some pictures but its a good size, has a tatty old shed with a few tools and a bag of runner beans in it (need to fix the door back on it), two huge clumps of rhubarb, plenty of comfrey, knee high grass, an 8 foot Elderberry, water tap is two strides away and its full of slow worm.
Looking forward to getting stuck in

Great stuff, Nafets!! Exciting times: enjoy your new 'lottie' and all the effort you put into it - you'll get it back a hundred fold

Get those photos before you start anything, you'll be surprised at just how much changes with just a couple of hours graft! Do you know what you want to start growing, yet?

A rough idea of boundaries, trying to find path between lots has proved difficult so far.

The old shed that im told I need to maintain, door isn't attached so maintaining it is the very least I can do
