Hey Woooow, what a welcome! Thank you so much everyone, that is such a big boost to the Growster (sorry, other name) Mr Growser - get it right - in the other place!

I hope I'm clicking the right bits to respond, but there are so many lovely pieces from old chums from the other place, I don't really know where to start!

Just to say that I like talking to everyone, and have so many chums from the other place, but that doesn't mean that talking here to Balders, Snoop, and especially Miss Mousetrousers, (with whom I have an online continuous even - er - leave it there - banter), which gets more absurd as the days go on, plus the fact that I must have met Cadalot when we were in business some years ago, so - phew, it's all a great experience!

As for the good news - is there anything else - I dunno, but there are many good people here with much more to say properly, and I'll be delighted to stand back a little, nurse my glass of wine and join in when it's the right time!

What a lovely place to visit!

Sounds like you've got heaps going on there ~~ sounds like a brill retirement plan, Mr G. Something I am looking to do - eventually ............

Hmm, leeks ... Rubbish for me - started in modules 20 - of which a measly 4 germinated ..... Ever hopeful, they've been planted out, they're the thickness of a thin piece of wire 'tho, so not much hope for them .....

Anyhoo, enjoy the banter and carry on gardening..!!

                Wire, Susie!

More like fuse wire here - you're very lucky!

                ;0)

That's so nice of you to say so, Veggie! Thank you!

Spent many tears in Brecon, and always admire your part of the world, you're very lucky!

The wine would probably come from La Monde in St Mary's street..;0)

Give it time she takes a long time to sharpen it!
                      Thank you Scarlet,

They're not actually raised beds, as we just keep the grass paths level with the soil, so the mower (and me) doesn't fall over the cliff edge!

If you really want to see some pics, I'll work out how to post these and you'll be welcome to view our mayhem, but it's what we do and like here, on 'The Patch'..;0)

Balders, you and I always had a laugh elsewhere, and I still have a few chums there, so it's great to be back in touch with you!

GG has a lot to answer for, and when I eventually get to Thurnham, she'll have a few big hugs as well as a bouquet and a few bottles of bubbly to celebrate!

                            Funny old world, isn't it!

What lovely people here - I'm so impressed, and happy for that!
