It's pants that you lost your partner, especially now you have some time on your hands.......

Now you've retired and have plenty of time to 'get stuck in' to your gardening ..... This is the perfect place to come for ideas, help and inspiration...!!!

I'm not wishing my life away, BUT, can't wait until I can be at home and spending as much time in the great outdoors gardening, pottering in GH, mowing lawns when the weather dictates ~ rather than work ......

I hope you get stuck into this Vine, as it's not only great for help and advice on growing, it's a shoulder to cry on, a giggle, fun and most of all it's great knowing you have some like-minded 'virtual' friends only a click away .......! Enjoy!

Hi FF - welcome to the vine. As everyone has said, love the name

I help a lady with her garden who lost her husband at the beginning of this year. Although it has obviously been a horrible time one of the big things that makes her happy is pottering in her garden & coming up with grand plans - the latest is turning part of her lawn into a wildflower meadow.

you'll like it here, everyone's pretty friendly if a little , erm, shall we say bonkers at times! (Not me of course.....)
