As a newcomer to the forum (but not gardening as I am quite old!!!), I would like to say hello, Happy New Year and good gardening to you all. I have an allotment near Evesham that I took over last April and have been putting in raised beds to counter the poor clay soil. Had some fairly decent crops but also some failures (95% slug damaged main crop palates that were not in a raised bed ), but like everyone else, has benefitted from the fresh air, exercise and company on the allotment.
