  • Hello from Oxfordshire!

    Hi all,

Just wanted to introduce myself after lurking for a few months I've started gardening fairly recently, growing some veg in pots in 2015 and then adopting a badly overgrown corner of a friend's allotment last year. Now on the waiting list for what I hope will be my own patch soon...

Hello, like the others have said 'welcome to the Vine'. You can now post so that the richness and variety of the threads is enhanced.

                  Hi there,

Whereabouts (roughly) are you in Oxfordshire? North, South, East or West would do... or your actual location if you're happy!

Or coffee or Sloe Gin... I'm not fussy!

It's just that the allotment site near me has spare plots and i always think it's a waste! They're not overgrown, untended plots... they're just empty, unused plots and are ridiculously cheap!
