Insect eggs identification

Hi all, just joined so hope I have got this right!. Looks ok so far, fingers crossed!

I wonder if anyone could help with identifying some white eggs that we found when clearing some longish grass this morning.

They are in small clusters next to our raised beds. 2mm approx across, round and white.

Don't think they are ants as ants normally have oval eggs.

Any ideas or suggestions please?

I have pictures, but struggling to load them as yet.

Do they look a bit jelly-fied? Could they be slug eggs? I know I am finding loads of slug eggs at the mo.

Where do you live as that may influence what the eggs could be.
Are they on the grass or the soil?
