Having skulked around on the sidelines this year I though it was high time I joined rather than acting like some sort of voyeur!

Actually, I admit it I wanted to get year one at the allotment/wall to wall of couch grass under my belt before failing to live up to the photo expectation.

Once I’m allowed to there will be photos. I seem to have to post more before then.

You know what to expect if you've been skulking for a while - so, no need to be embarrassed by a bit of couch grass. before and after photo are always good to see.

You will have to post a few more times before you can do clever stuff like photos and profile but its easy to rack up some posts.

Mr Blue is ‘paths and construction’ so could do with some likeminded support.

Our allotment folk are lovely but very rarely see them as they are all down there during the day while I’m at work, or I assume they must be - either that or they have allotment fairies doing planting and weeding. The evening folks are like me desperate to get things done before dark or family starves to death waiting for the harvest to be brought back for dinner.

Still a worthy target to get my posts up is so I can participate in the seed swaps/fruit exchange/chilli seeding rescues etc.

Oh we have our excuses down here, drought being one of them. Not at the moment obviously we're knee deep in mud on our allotments.
