    We've got one of the long, metal thermometers you can find online. It works pretty well. Most of the reported issues seem to be from people leaving them outside in a compost pile permanently. Ours is kept in the greenhouse when not in use and we've not had any problems with condensation getting inside the body of the thermometer.

            But plenty of planting done in the last week or so.

            4 varieties of peas ( wish I’d written them down before throwing packets )
            Caulies
            Cabbages
            Brussel sprouts
            Spring onion ( in and out before allium leaf miner gets a look in )
            Celeriac

            Carrots

            Radish
            Lettuce
            Spinach
            Beetroot
            Gooseberry

                The large raised bed at the far end have 3ton of well rotted manure in it, it will be getting a ‘hundredweight’ pumpkin to feed...
