  • Netting?

    Hi Folks

When I first went to view the allotment I noticed a lot of the plots had similar netting. I have also inherited a number picture below. (The majority are about 2x10m)

I was curious as to whether these are "old school" nets that were popular years ago as I don't remember seeing this type when I've searched the internet?

        Repairing scaffolding debris netting

Does anyone have any useful tips?

A couple of the nets have the odd hole so I was thinking of repairing them with a net that cannot be saved
        Cheers

Usually they just rip and you (or somebody else) can sew the edges together

              Thanks Folks

I obviously over complicated it, I am a man

Will ask Mrs B where the sewing kit is hoping it will prompt an offer to help
              Cheers

I have a bucket of old spring clips I bought in ALDI Yeats ago for supporting plants on stakes, I use these for pinching the net holes together. I’m no good with a needle and thread, still can’t sew a button on my shirt.
