alot of stables now use wood chips instead of straw for the horses, has anybody used this and does it make any differance and do you have to leave it to rot down as good as straw hope someone can help many thanks DD
Hi diggerdelaney. I've composted woodchip bedding in the past and as long as you mix it well with other materials, it doesn't take too long to rot down.
I you'st to have a handle on the world .. but it BROKE!!
I agree with terrier, don't put it on neat until it's composted! It's full of horses urine and will scorch your plants
