I've been off line for a while - couch grass and dandelions wait for nothing, and so I've just caught up with the thread. I've not had the call yet and put a cheeky call in a bit ago 'just incase I'd given y number wrong'. Anyway, the number the council gives out isn't the person who I need to speak to but they gave me the number I needed. Just called it and there's a fault on the blinkin' line thier end. Looks like I won't be getting my call tonight. I'll go down to the allotments in person tomorrow instead but now don't know if I should be getting my stuff prepared for a day's digging or not
