I'm tending to think that way myself Vegnut. It depends how tempting those rasps look. Off to see it soon.

I'm tempted by the water tank end Scarey. Just been to see it - pictures attached! It looks fairly sheltered down there. My friends Ali who is sharing will give me some rasps - no problem there, but thanks for the offer - much appreciated! These are autumn rasps. I was speaking to an old bloke who was sorting out his bean frame, toppled in the high winds recently - he offered me rhubarb and tayberries but I already have them at home. They are a sociable lot and I think you could easily fill your plot with friendly offerings! (A bit like the number of seeds I've sown recently that have come from Grapevine swaps!) Hope to be able to offer a few things back to them by next Spring!
I can't really start until the end of the month when the subs are due - £14 for a full plot! The old chap said he suspects a couple of people will not renew - folks who've sown a few seeds last spring then never bothered to come and harvest. So, greedy begger that I am - I'm now hoping for a full one!

I think I'll go for the end near the tank - the one backing on to the church. That's more sheltered. Still hoping for the whole thing if some more peeps give up their plots. Greedy Flum!Whoever plants a garden believes in the future.
