I gave up with a couple of pots of seed, and threw the contents in the large pot where I'm growing one potato in the greenhouse.

Now, there are lots of little seeds which have germinated around the potato. As soon as they have the first real leaves, I'll have to transplant them - and try to guess what they were

Kentvegplot, good luck with the crop in the potato bucket. I'm sure they'll do great but let us know - pics would be great.
I've got bird seed feeders hanging above my potatoes in buckets. It was only when I noticed a hen blackie in a bucket eating the fallen seed that I noticed they were getting scattered in there. Interesting to see what comes up. We can compare notes.

From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.

          Amanda (and your veg too)
Your coriander should be okay - I grew loads last year and it germinated no problem in an unheated tunnel - though last April was a scorcher. Can't remember if it was fast or slow to germinate - slower than most things I think, but my germination was almost 100%.
