Well guys, the postie has just been and we are loosing our "permanent site" next year! We have to be off by september 2009. Great isn't it! Everywhere else people are quing up for lotties here it appears no one cares! Must be all the take aways. The sites being offered are even more inconvenient for me to get to so it looks like my dogs will be walking on tiptoe and my garden will have to become a lottie!

that's terrible! is there no option for appeal? maybe if you worked to get the community interested and galvanised into veg growing action with open days or stuff in the paper or something? or is it too late for all that (or already tried and failed? ) I really feel for you, I've only had mine a few months and have yet to eat anything off it other than the odd blackberry (bramble fest when i got it) but i'd be lost without it..I have a dream:
a dream that, one day, chickens can cross roads without having their motives questioned.

Sorry to hear that Mrs dog, is there anyone nearby who might welcome you turning their neglected back garden into a veg plot. I once asked an elderly gentleman, who was unable to farm his garden because of health, if i could grow veg on his garden. He was so happy to let me . He got a good share of the crop so we were both happy all round. Good luck.good Diggin, Chuffa.
