i have just got onto the local council about an allotment and to my dismay there is a waiting list of 73 people how bummed out am i!!!! ahwell just have to keep doin what i do wont i

You dont say where you live are there other areas you can put your name to.
See if anyone would like to share a plot or if someone needs help with their own garden.
Put your name on the list sometimes they move quicker than you think.

i live i st austell cornwall, the 73 covers all the sites in my town about 13 i think

Advertise in local shops asking if there are any private allotments........or if a farmer has any spare land he could rent out for a reasonable amount?
