How to make allotment Secretary sad...........invite four punters to look at four vacant plots. One phones to say his father's died (for the third time?) and he can't make it,there's one no-show, two turn up. One says "You've got to be joking" and walks away and tuther demands a one year rent free period to knock the plot into shape!

Cross 'em off the list Snadger & onto the next lot! There'll always be P-takers, you don't need 'em! I think that an 'interview' and maybe a points system should be applied to waiting lists, those who aren't prepared to put in the work get pushed down the list... Controversial I know!
