What do I do? Potato problem!

Hi,
I've dug up all of my new potatoes, but my maincrop potatoes have got blight. I've sprayed them with bordeaux, and they're not completely knackered yet, but should I dig them up now, or should I leave them and see how they go?
I wouldn't want them to ruin if I leave them in, but obviously, I want to leave them as long as possible.
Will it spread to the tubers if I leave them in the ground, even if I continue to spray them with bordeaux?
I'd be very glad of some help please. I'm starting to panic!

If it was me, I'd be picking off all the infected leaves & burning them. Then carry on spraying. If there are too many infected leaves, or the stems go at all blotchy, or it comes back on the leaves, then cut the tops off, and burn them. Then you have to leave the crop in the ground for at least 2 weeks before harvesting.
Be sure that it IS blight, and not sun/wind scorch or chocolate spot, or grey mould (botrytis) which can all be mistaken for blight.

I hope it isnt blight, fingers crosse for you, maybe if you could take a picture of the leaves, we could help you more with identifying the problem :-)

Bordeaux is a prevention, not a cure.
If you already have blight, you need to pick off all the foliage, bin or burn it. Then wait 3 weeks before you did up your spuds.

Thanks guys. I'm gonna go out now and start picking off the leaves. I don't think there's too many of them at the mo that have whatever it is, so if I do it now, hopefully I'll stop it spreading.
