  • Grapes can you help

    i have decided due to work and family commitments to give up one of my allotments.

    i have a three year rootstock bramley apple tree on said plot which is well maintaned and pruned and for a small tree is an exceptional fruiter. please grapes tell me if ican lift it and when the best time will be.
    this will be a battle from the heart

    Yes best lifted when dormant, take it with the soil attached, big root ball then you dont disturb all the fine roots have a hole prepared where you are going to move it to.

      apparently a square hole is better than a round hole ... that way the roots spread out more easily.
