Grapes can you help

i have decided due to work and family commitments to give up one of my allotments.

i have a three year rootstock bramley apple tree on said plot which is well maintaned and pruned and for a small tree is an exceptional fruiter. please grapes tell me if ican lift it and when the best time will be.

Yes best lifted when dormant, take it with the soil attached, big root ball then you dont disturb all the fine roots have a hole prepared where you are going to move it to.

apparently a square hole is better than a round hole ... that way the roots spread out more easily.

when you say dormant are you suggesting autumn or the depths of winter

When the leaves have fallen and the sap has gone down, why do you need to move it sooner than later?
