I discovered about a dozen black bin bags full of spent compost that had been fly tipped nearby. I did my bit in helping to clean up the environment.

I also will keep a look out for cheap grow bags and let you know where and how cheap etc....

Thanks kwa50. I wish we had a Netto near here. We're very short on bargain stores - I think we only have Lidles and, of course, Trago Mill who aren't bad for garden stuff. They don't come near the Netto bargains though.
Managed to get on with some digging today. We grow on very light soil so it drains quickly even after the soaking recently.
