Following on from my previous post, i've made quite some progress. 1st i got 100m of weed membrane off ebay and layed out my paths(only £30 delivered!). Then i had a fire with a few mates and some beers and cleared all the weeds and wood that i'd gathered. There was loads but we stayed till bout half 11 and the lot was cleared, quality night would recomend for clearing rubbish and having a great laugh. Got two sheds from B & Q for £75 each 6x6 in the sale, bargain! Now i'm gonna repair the chicken run and build the sheds, one for me and one for the chucks.
Gonna rotovate my beds now i've marked them out on the deepest setting. Then i'm going to mulch some with manure which i might cover over with the leftover membrane??? The manure will be fresh will this rot down in time for spring and should i dig it in at spring? Also some beds i'll use green manure. been looking at field beans and rye grass, are these good? are there better? Do i dig in the lot at spring or chop down and dig in just the roots? What veg best follows the different types?
All help, advice and ideas on these matters and any others would be greatly appreciated
Cheers, here take a quick peek
