Hi WykeSmallHolder, welcome to the 'Vine from another Yorkshire Grape
Looks like you've got your work cut out there! But well done for being persistant, and being brave enough to take on the job. Look forward to seeing your progress.

hi all made a start today spent 4 hours with chainsaw and headgetrimmers and fired through got about half brambles down im amazed how easy it is with right equipment how little bits there is if you use hedgetrimmers and go straight down thru brambles then across the stems also how much space there is i have put some pics on of progress

In the pics you can see an old bedstead that was stood up under the brambles and also the difference of how open it looks with me cutting the trees down

Well done! Have you grubbed out the bramble roots yet? And just as important, what are you going to plant first?
