Ive got a shed FREE!

hi all
picked up earlier today a shed for my new lottie

i was browsing adtrader and happened to come across a 6' x 6' free to good home but the ad was from last week but i rung up anyway and it was still available so i picked it up so now ive just to decide were im going to site it because it has a front and side door so im thinking of building a greenhouse on front so you have to go thru shed to get into it so that it is secure and also warms shed what is your fellow grapes opinion on that i would be pleased to hear

Well scrounged and recycled. Putting the greenhouse on the end of the shed sounds like a brilliant idea. Just think, next year you'll be able to rustle up a bacon butty on a camping stove in the shed, nip on to the plot for a few leaves of lettuce and into the green house for the tomatoes. Fresh BLT yum yum.

Before I had an allotment I always liked a bargain but now I LOVE a freebie!! My shed was given to my lottie neighbour who didn't need it so gave it to me. Needed a little bit of TLC which my wonderful brother-in-law took care of so long as I made him a trifle. Deal done

Got my shed for free too, great isn't it! Have now got it fitted out with shelves and various hooks and it's fab.

only wish i COULD check out freecycle, I did apply about 2 weeks ago and am still waiting for the subscrption to be approved.

Freecycle is only as good as the mods and members. I get annoyed about the amount of greedy want posts we get but at least our mods are good round here. Send yours another e-mail to see how your applications is going, should be sorted within 48 hours if there isn't a problem.

If you want to combine the shed with a greenhouse shed would be best at North end of South facing geeenhouse!

you mean with the greenhouse long axis aligned east west

Well, mine is North South on the long axis with a door into the shed on the Northern end!
Doesn't really matter that much as long as the shed doesn't cast a shadow over the greenhouse!
