Help! My poor leeks that I grew and cosseted from seed look really sick now. I planted them out ages ago and then I think a rabbit had a go at them - nibbles straight across the top - they recovered from that but now the leaves are twisted and shredded and some seem to have gone soggy. The word on the allotment is Leek Moth. Anyone know anything about that and is there anything I could have done to prevent it and if so when should I have done it. I've grown them before and while they haven't been as big as other peoples they have been ok. Allotment sue

sick leeks!
Just read replies, thanks everyone, also read old thread . It sounds as though cutting back might help, especially here in mild weathered Somerset! I'll try it and let you all know what happens. I'll try to find out about the lifecycle of the little darling - ready to do battle next year!! Allotment Sue
