Ask at the trade shed. Sounds as if they have a good set-up.

It pays to support your allotment shop. We don't have a shop but the larger allotment site up the road does and we are allowed to use it. Items are a lot cheaper than in the shops and I usually get my seeds (Kings), seed potatoes and paraffin at very good rates. No idea whether they hire machinery but they probably do.
It's good for the site as well as they manage to subsidise each plot to the sum of £6.50 per annum from shop profits!

Hi Tinks! My allotment shop has rotovators but we are not allowed to hire or borrow them. Instead, for a very small fee, one of the association members will rotovate the site for you! I think its something to do with insurance as the rotovators as really quite big industrial ones!
