not on the plot but about 5 years ago in my clumsy teenage times:

i was painting the undeside of a hay trailor with primer and walked into the end of one of the metal poles waiting to be welded onto the bed of the trailor.

heres the damage a couple of days later http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...csgal/head.jpg

i like to point out that sporting the adamt ant look didnt help much with the healing. they didnt wash my wound properly and t healed over with metal dust still inside the wound. I effectively tattoo'd my own head and was left with a black scar which spread because it hadnt been properly sewn up. Needless to say the NHS were quick to offer to mend the error of their ways with a bit of plastic surgery - i now sport a very fine white scar on my forehead instead of a big fat ugly black and grey one! most people dont even notice it.

one day you'll look back at your stupidity and laugh!!!

My aunt was a nurse and met her husband when he came into the hospital having put a pitch fork through his foot................

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

My neighbour broke his arm falling off his chicken roof ... he could have been there for days in this weather; there's not many people around in the winter.

Not on the allotment, but I was helping OH strip armoured cable. I was chatting on the phone to my dad, and trying to slice open the thick black plastic at the same time, when the stanley knife went into my leg instead. Himself though I was joking cos I calmly said to my dad, 'I've got to get off now, I've just sliced my leg open.'
Its only when I showed him the blood, that he believed me.

Ooh, sounds painful. While we're on the subject can I just say that the thing about stepping on a rake is not something invented by Tom and Jerry.
Into each life some rain must fall........but this is getting ridiculous.

Because I 'm a calamity I've done that too, snapped my glasses in half and bust my nose.

Maybe I should be wrapped up in cotton wool and let out on special occasions - or a straight jacket I think my OH would say
