I am famous (notorious!) for making lists - I have about half a dozen on the go as we speak, including what needs doing in the garden and seeds I want to buy. Most of the time it helps but sometimes I get so caught up in the list that I don't do the job! I am however very glad I planned my alotment on paper first, it did pay off and as I said, actually made it seem less daunting.

But for real planning I am in awe of Nicos - wow! I just sow some seeds, see how much comes up and then work out if I can fit them in! I must admit a certain amount goes to waste by this method (I'm no longer on an allotment and haven't found a home for my spares) but I don't think I'd have the patience or discipline to do what Nicos does.
