Hello Magicmushroom and welcome to the vine. Is the polytunnel heated at all? Even if it is only on a frost free setting you might be able to produce something. Like you I only used my greenhouse previously for spring/summer but at the end of last year I planted up pots of salad stuff and bags of spuds. The salad has been sparce but I get the occasional munch of radish and lettuce but I did get spuds and still have several sacks to harvest. I have also overwintered loads of geraniums which I would normally start from seed this month. They will be big sturdy plants by the time spring comes. Depends on how big your tunnel is and do you grow direct into the soil? I expect another grape will be along soon with their ideas so hang in there!! Sanjo

Winter Gem Lettuce for unheated greenhouses and cloches (and polytunnels) for this time of year will give some nice cos types through winter months, although sown now, you will have to wait for a month or two. You could sow thickly and get baby leaves from your thinnings.
