You would need to know which of the tools you wanted to power from it had the highest wattage and then choose a generator that could produce that amount of power or preferably a little more. Be careful, most generators will give two figures; one that the generator can deliver all the time that it is running and a higher one that it is capable of generating for a short time if it detects a surge in demand. The figure you are interested in is the first.
Most shredders are quite power hungry. Just as an example, my shredder uses 1600 watts if I wanted to run this from a generator I would choose one capable of producing a steady 2200 watts.
There is a supplier (I forget their name) that supplies Wolf generators at very reasonable cost. I know they are based in Kirkby in Ashfield, Nottinghamshire. Try Google.
Hope that makes sense. It is the doom of man, that they forget.

The website is Wolf Online - Generators, Air Compressors, Welders, Welding Equipment, Compressors, Air Tools, Power Tools... Their prices seem very reasonable and they'll deliver for a charge of about £10.00.
Note. This is only info. I have never bought from them and so can not say how good they are.It is the doom of man, that they forget.
