Well iam a bit far from you , But they are not to hard to do ,We cut the
wood at my mates place so it was just a case of drilling and screwing . Will
have some more pics later i hope.

Thanks HM! Its been a bit of a slog, but definitely worth it!

We got chatting to one of the other plot holders yesterday, an old guy who potters around on his plot, but doesnt seem to get a lot done, and he paid us both a compliment, 'You two aren't allotmenteers, you're bl**din farmers! Must be in your blood or something, the need to grow on an industrial scale!' Lol!

Lol MB, if I could afford to quit it, then I'd hand in my resignation tomorrow!

Unfortunately we've a mortgage to pay and a few other bits n bobs that mean I have to go out and work, especially as my salary is quite a bit more than Mr D's (he's ok with his work, he does 3 days a week and has 4 off a week, but its 13 hour shifts for him!), but if I could work out a way to earn enough without having to do 50+ hours a week plus travelling, then I'd quit tomorrow, especially with all the latest wage budget cuts, changes to store staffing structures and operating procedures, massive weekly workloads and no recognition of the stress we are constantly put under!

Ah well, all I need is the lotto numbers, then it'd be find a nice house in the wilds with enough growing room and space for some hens and pigs, then retire to the country and take up GYOing full time!

PS Thanks for the lovely comments, I only hope after all this effort that we do manage to grow something edible and worthwhile, am having nightmares about giant caterpillars eating everything and chasing me around the plot!

Hey great work you guys . Mine is coming on now .My mate Dan pops up
and gives me a hand with the digging , As Mrs Pete is not at all interested.
But each to their own i say . Will be filling second set of raised beds once
the spring cabbage are done which will not be long at this rate .
