Welcome to the Vine Coopes
We love piccies of other people's plots - some might say we're nosey, but we prefer 'interested'
ETA; Just had a look at you pics, it's looks fab, you've put a lot of work in there! And the soil looks good too. I really like that big greenhouseLast edited by SarzWix; 13-04-2009, 10:13 PM.

Thanks Sarah
It took a lot of work, we have had the allotment about 3 weeks now I dug it over and weeded it all at once. There was a lot of bindweed in there tried to get most out but it's almost imposable. We have now started planting, we have strawberrys, raspberry, potatoes, and onion sets. lots of seeds in our home greenhouse because there is quite a bit of glassout of the one on the allotment, that will have to be a job in progress

We have a bit of bindweed on our plot, but horsetail is our big problem. I tried sieving it out of one bed and it still popped up again in a few months! So now I just wage war with the hoe - no plant can survive forever if it's head keeps getting chopped off

Hi Eco, I have plenty of time on my hands at the moment, lost my job in Jan, so I needed something to do.Originally I was just digging it over for a friend, he the decided he didn't want it so I took it over. the greenhouse is partly finished there is just the three pieces of glass on the lefthand roof to sort out, it is useable on the righthand side so will have toms and cucumber in there this year.
we are also going to scrape all the peeling paint off it this winter and give it a fresh coat.
