  • Made it to my allotment today

I managed to get to my allotment to do some much needed weeding among the onions and I only choped off the top of one and pulled one up I also planted some more cabbage and peas to replace the ones the slugs and snail had eaten, and planted some more sweetpeas. Raddish and spinach are up and doing well. Potatoes are showing through so earthed them yp a bit more.
Gave away some onion sets to a gent and some raspberies to someone else that grown where I had dug them up. Thats my good deed for the day lol

Weeded half my onions I have 2 lots totalling about 400 sets.
And pulled all the flowers off the dandelions.
The river Trent is lovely, I know because I have walked on it for 18 years.

We beheaded all the dandelions too Pity the people on the next plot haven't been bothered to do theirs... Some of the plants are about a foot and a half tall on there, so I guess I'll be dealing with their seeds for the next year

Haven't weeded the onions yet, they don't look strong enough to cope with hoeing between the rows and I can't hand weed yet, I'll have to get the kids on with it after school
