  • Heritage Seeds...

    Hi All,

Sorry if this is the wrong place, but...

In doing my research on varities and so on I would really like to get hold of some heritage seeds, I mean who cannot deny wanting to grow sprouts called Scrymger's Giant, what a name..

    But..

3 hits on google, nothing selling them.

I suppose I have hit the conformist F1 sprout trap...

Anyone know a good place to go for these strange seeds?

Most sprout varities (Old) seem to have dissapered!

(Btw I know I am late for sowing sprouts, this is not the objective ..)

A good place to start would be to join the Heritage Seed Library, part of Garden Organic. For a yearly membership fee you get to help them to concerve old varieties of seed, and also get to choose from a selection of them every year to grow and save seed from yourself.

My Majesty made for him a garden anew in order
to present to him vegetables and all beautiful flowers.- Offerings of Thutmose III to Amon-Ra (1500 BCE)
