  • Climing Peas.

    Hi all.

Has anybody got any suggestions for variety's of climbing peas? We are currently growing Aldermans, which grow to about 5-6ft and give a reasonable crop, but was looking to see if there were many others out there that were worth a try.
From experience with the Aldermans (as I mentioned) they are reasonable croppers, but as a climber it means its one less plant to bend down to pick from and 5-6ft of pea covered plant is have generally been more productive than its 3ft cousins.

    Thanks.

I grow 'victorian collosal climbing' variety from Victoriana nursery...usually 6-8ft+ very good cropper.
