    hi does anybody know how many people the local council need as a group for me to ask them if there is any waste land avaliable for allotments or how do i go about requesting the use of council wasteland to turn into alloments cheers for your help!!!

    hi yellow strawberry,i would find out who is your local councilor,and go ask them first,have heard it said aprox 6 people,but our councilor said it's 4,so is best to find out,also,have you noticed any suitable/possible land about,that way you have some suggestions to put forward,best of luck

      yes there is a big bit of council waste land just behind our house and has been that way since i moved here 10 years ago ,,just didn't really know how to go about approaching the council and who to approach ,,,will try the councillor and go from there ,,,thanks for your help

        For the council to investigate allotments there need to be six people but they don't have to give them...they just need to investigate it.
