Hello any advice would be grateful been struggling with club roote in some areas of my plot and have read a lot about lime ing for brassicas so i bought my self a ph meter and have discovered a reading of 7 can any one tell us if this is classed as neutral if so do i still lime ?

The pH of a soil refers to its acidity or alkalinity and is a vital factor in plant growth. It is easy to measure and is usually listed numerically on a scale of one to 14. Acid soils have a pH of below seven, neutral is pH7 and alkaline is above seven.
